Fun Facts That Make Great Trivia Bonus Rounds
Sometimes a quiz needs a break. These quick facts work well as bonus rounds or conversation starters between questions.
Burton wrote a poem first. Tim Burton wrote the original poem in the early 1980s while he worked at Disney. Years passed before the studio turned it into a feature film.
The movie started as a risky bet. Disney worried the film felt too dark for its audience, so it released the movie under the Touchstone label instead of the main Disney banner. Over time, though, fans embraced it, and Disney eventually moved it closer to its core brand.
It found its audience slowly. The film did decent business at first, but it kept growing through rereleases, home video, and merchandise. Today, it sits among the most popular holiday-season movies around.
The holiday debate never ends. Is it Halloween or Christmas? The answer depends on who you ask. Many families watch it in October, then again in December. Honestly, both groups have a fair point.
How to Host a Nightmare Before Christmas Trivia Night
Ready to try this out with friends? Here’s a simple plan that works for most groups.
- Pick your rounds. Use the four tables above as separate rounds. Start easy and finish hard.
- Split into teams. Two to four teams work well, so everyone stays involved.
- Keep score on paper. Give one point for each correct answer, and add bonus points for the hard round.
- Add themed snacks. Pumpkin cookies, popcorn, and “spider” cupcakes fit the mood.
- Play the soundtrack quietly in the background. It sets the tone without drowning out the answers.
For kids, stick with the first two tables. Younger players usually enjoy naming characters more than remembering composer details. Meanwhile, adults can handle the music and voice cast rounds without trouble.
